Non-destructive testing and geometric measurements

The personnel of the Non-Destructive Control and Inspection Department is certified in accordance with PN-EN ISO 9712 and has a second degree of competence in the following test methods:

• visual (VT)
• penetration (PT)
• magneto-powder (MT)
• ultrasonic (UT)

WE SPECIALIZE IN THE RESEARCH:

• continuity of materials (detecting cracks and other hidden defects) by means of ultrasound methods using the Olympus Epoch 1000 flaw detector
• magnetic and white beam and ultraviolet light
• inspection and non-destructive testing of drill string elements according to the requirements of world standards: API RP 7G-2 and DS-1

In the field of geometrical measurements, the Control Department has the appropriate equipment and possibilities to carry out the following orders:

• measurements of geometry of spatial structures of large dimensions (measurement accuracy ± 0.07mm) with the mobile measuring arm "StingerII"
• HB and HRC hardness measurements with R / B-2 type hardness tester, and measurements of steel, cast iron, copper alloys and aluminum with a mobile device
• measurements of surface roughness of steel elements according to Ra and Rz parameters (profilographometer) with the Mitutoyo mobile device
• we carry out tests and measurements in our workshop as well as in the place indicated by the client
